Hard Truth’s 325-acre campus is a beautiful retreat into the woods any day, but, when April showers are busy working on those May flowers, a leisurely walk around the pond gets a little more soggy, dry seats on the terrace are few and far between, and the ATVs get sidelined for safety purposes.

MIX THINGS UP
Mixology 101 is a great way to brush up on your bartending basics. Join a Hard Truth mixologist for a lesson in mixology that includes cocktail samples and hands-on experience with the tools of the trade as you make your very own cocktail.

BUT, STILL
Pot still, column stills — the Hard Truth distillery tour will give you a look at, and a brief lesson in, all the stills (and other equipment) that are integral in the creation of Hard Truth spirits as you walk through our working facility.
Like most tours at Hard Truth, it does include a brief jaunt outside from the Hard Truth Tours & Tastings Center to the main building, so you will need a raincoat or umbrella on a rainy day.

DUDE, SWEET (MASH)
The Whole Truth tour does include a brief outdoor jaunt or two between buildings, but the trip is worth it! Not only do you get to tour the Hard Truth distillery, but you also get to walk among the sweet-mash filled barrels of Rackhouse No. 1 and experience a whiskey tasting progression.

TAKE YOUR PICK
If you love whiskey, the Hard Truth Barrel Selection Experience is a fantastic foray into the world of single barrel picks. Enjoy a guided tasting of hand-selected, single-barrel Sipes’ rum cask-finished bourbon or Indiana Rye, and take home a bottle of your favorite!
This experience is as indoors as you can get at Hard Truth — the selection takes place in our hidden barrel room!

DON’T FORGET TO EAT

SHELTER FROM THE STORM
Hard Truth’s long-awaited overnight guest cabin has just opened for bookings. Up to four guests aged 21 years and older can stay in this two-bed, two-bath retreat with kitchen, living area, and covered porches.
Tucked just off Hard Truth’s gently winding entry road, the cabin nestled among the trees is a comfortable walking distance from all onsite facilities. Of course, on a rainy day, all you need is a bottle of Hard Truth Sweet Mash Rye Whiskey, a deck of playing cards, and a few quiet hours to while away on the porch with folks whose company you enjoy.
